* The weekend before reality *

Hey Sassy Cats,

What a crazy weekend we've had. It was nothing short of perfect. Some of you know that I work at a school and its time to snap back into reality and go back to work! So in true form, I had to make this weekend count. Let's start with Friday!

I invited some of my family from down south up to West Palm. My uncle, his wife, daughter and my grandma all were ready to stay and party it up with me and mine. My uncle, being the sweet man he is, decided that he wanted to surprise my aunt. She had been asking to go dancing for quite some time now and FINALLY it was time to go through with a plan.

The Plan:

Convince Subject (A) to go to the Improv! -Honestly it wasn't that hard, she's always down for anything- Arrive on Friday and hangout till its time to get ready. Jump in the car and head downtown.  Two weeks of planning and questioning and we're here.!.
Mission Complete!

It was so cute to watch her eyes light up when he finally told her his plan and that we were not going to the Improv after all!

My Beautiful Family <3

We met up with my mom and her friend where we indulged in some yummy food and some drinks. Some people need a little extra liquid courage to be able to keep up with a true salsa loving, bachata dancing girl :) Over all the night went as planned as we danced and partied till our feet could not anymore. Not many pictures were taken but the ones we did were enough to capture a beautiful moment where we were all together and enjoying each other. We don't get to do that quite often since they live far away.

It was quite a H O O T watching my uncle dance with his wife. In all honesty, I didn't think that he would. My aunt was ready to hit the floor running but he needed some extra pushing. But let me tell you, as soon as he got out there it was the best (and funniest) thing to witness. Hands in the air, hips swinging scandalously side to side in a rather out of rhythm trance and some quite hysterical bopping up and down motion that I've only witnessed once from S.O.S. After I wiped my tears from laughter, the overwhelming feeling of happiness over came me. Just to see them two letting it all go on the dance floor just shows me that their is still true love to be found in this world. At that moment, only they mattered to each other. Between laughter, kisses, hugs and loud music, I can easily say they will remember that night forever. I think we all will.

Saturday came quickly for us, we didn't get to bed that night till about 4 am so we slept in. We had a pretty relaxing day ahead of us. Chris and I have literally became Grill Masters with all the bbq's we had this summer. We left the family at home sleeping and ran to Publix. We were not prepared to feed so many people so we had to equip for what was to come. On the menu: Chicken Kabobs & Hot dogs. PS- Publix hot dog brand are to die for FYI. We had so many people coming but they all offered to bring something so it relieved the stress of having to think of everything.

We got back home to find everyone awake and ready to help. Can I just say I L O V E hosting parties? The prior craziness and preparation gives me a HIGH that no drug can give. Anyone else feel like that? Anywho, I began cutting the veggies and assembling the Bobs while the men got the bbq ready.
Little by little people started arriving at my pool, just in time for lunch. The chef, my boyfriend, was such a great sport. He cooked everything to perfection in a skillful manner. You would have thought he graduated from The Grilling Masters of America!! The food was great and the guest came hungry. <PERFECT COMBINATION>

Now that our bellies were fully, it was time for some splashing around in the pool! My mom had brought over her underwater camera and it seems to have brought the underwater mermaid/merman out in everyone.

Can their be a more perfect family photo??

Underwater Kissies <3

I couldn't help but think of Ariel & Prince Eric. Being a self-proclaimed Disney Fan and all!

The festivities continued with some tag and a few games of chicken but I was beat. So I spent the rest of the evening soaking in as much family, babies and sun as I could. Oh and I can't forget this killer Chocolate Dulce de Leche that one of the guests brought. I think I soaked a little to much of that up. Haha. Guilty Pleasures.

& the G R A N D FINALE...

.Successful Summer.

Time to go turn on my alarm and get ready for the dreaded 'W' word..
